Datuk among several immigration officers remanded over alleged corruption

Under arrest: Canadian police have arrested two men and are seeking two others for exporting controlled goods and technologies intended for space satellite use to China in violation of export and defense laws.

JOHOR BARU: Several senior immigration officers, including a woman and a Datuk, were remanded for alleged corruption.

It is learnt that at least five people, including four immigration staff members, were remanded for four days by a magistrate's court here over the issuance of temporary work permits and passes.
