PETALING JAYA: Former Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) chief executive officer Datuk C.M. Vignaesvaran Jeyandran was non-committal about accusations of misappropriation in the agency.
“I am not sure if I want to comment on that as of now,” he said when contacted yesterday.
He said he had not yet read the news reports about HRDF, adding that he would look at them later.
Vignaesvaran had tendered his resignation effective June 21.
On Saturday, Kulasegaran told a townhall meeting that person-nel of the agency had misappro-priated about RM100mil or about a third of the RM300mil in the fund.
Two police reports have been lodged. Former and current HRDF staff are expected to be questioned.
The HRDF is an agency under the Human Resources Ministry that manages a fund contributed by employers for training and development.
