Senheng, Lazada to lead in a sale revolution

KUALA LUMPUR: On a roll with the Seamless 2.0 concept that opened up new business possibilities on the horizon, Senheng kicks off November by taking a step ahead with online shopping mainstays Lazada for the 11.11 Shopping Festival.

With free shipping storewide, discounts up to 50%, incredible flash deals, and 5% wallet cashbacks, Senheng is also offering RM100 off for all Samsung TVs for 50 lucky participants, as well as a Samsung 58-inch TV giveaway worth RM3,799.

All these unbelievable deals will eventually culminate with Lazada’s 11.11 Shopping Festival, a 24-hour shopping extravaganza offering deals as low as RM0.99, RM200,000 worth of free gifts and 10,000 Surprise Boxes containing products from various brands up to 70% off while stocks last.

All-nighters can snag off the lowest prices for the year from over 50 brands on Nov 11, from midnight to 2am. Early risers can take advantage of Flash Vouchers beginning 8am as well as “Slash It and Shake It” sessions throughout the day.

All this is in keeping with Senheng’s retail transformation under its new seamless business concept. This new phase marks a renewed commitment on Senheng’s part to offer customers better information, more convenience, added value and an ultimately improved shopping experience by aligning in-store, online and mobile shopping activities with the consumers’ personal purchasing preference.

With customer traffic migrating from offline to online, retailers need to step up their game to innovate and build up a strong and coherently integrated online and offline presence so as to offer a seamless and altogether more personalized shopping experience to its customers.

This is the main reason behind partnering with Lazada - to expand boundaries in order to tap into the emerging younger segment whose shopping and purchasing behaviour has evolved.

Senheng is also offering a further RM200 instant rebate with HSBC Credit Card Instalment Plan. This promotion is open to HSBC or HSBC Amanah Credit Card holders who spend a minimum of RM2,000 nett in a single transaction and convert purchases to fixed monthly instalments under the HSBC or HSBC Amanah Credit Card Instalment Plan on Senheng’s website.

There is also a free RM300 voucher available for PlusOne Citi Card members upon signing up for PlusOne Citi programme and spending a total of RM750 in a single transaction via Citi credit card.

Focusing more on easy-payment-schemes, Senheng also lets customers pay via Aeon Easy Credit. It features an instalment scheme without interest at all for 12 months on selected products only, while other products remain at a rate of 1%. Even the IPP offers up to 24 months with zero interest, a prime example of how Senheng goes the extra mile for its valued customers.

“It’s always been about the customers” is one of Senheng’s major beliefs and as far as customer loyalty is concerned, Senheng is committed to provide customers and members with more value from a shopping environment they love and enjoy. Ultimately, it’s all about building personal relationships with customers; turning them into brand ambassador themselves.

The targeted revenue for this year’s 11.11 Shopping Festival is US$2mil (RM8.4mil) for Senheng’s official store at Lazada while Senheng aims to reap RM50mil. After last year’s 11.11 netted in RM35mil, Senheng enters this year’s festivities with confidence that its association with Lazada would generate even more hype and revenue for prosperous curtain closer this final quarter of 2018.
