KUALA LUMPUR: There are already “rumblings” for the Umno president to go on leave amid his corruption charges, even as the party constitution is silent on this matter, said Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.
The Umno veteran said while there was nothing black and white in the constitution on whether leaders facing criminal charges should step down, the practice was for them to give up their positions or take leave.
