Teens in love with same girl set selves on fire

TWO high school students in Telangana, India, who found out they were both in love with the same girl set fire to themselves, killing one and leaving the other in critical condition.

The two Grade 10 (equivalent to Form 5) teenagers from a school in Hyderabad met up a few nights ago with another student to drink and talk late into the night.

After the subject of the girl came up, the two poured petrol all over each other and set themselves alight.

The injured student is in intensive care currently.

Michael Soosai and his wife Kanagaletchumi Suppiah, 56, and their two children live in Jalan Pantai in a low-cost home.

The older child has completed his studies and is looking for a job, while the younger son is disabled.

Soosai said he would leave home daily at 3am on his modified three-wheel motorbike to distribute newspapers around Port Dickson and worked till late.

Soosai said any help to repair his bike would be greatly appreciated.
