PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is believed to have been called in again by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

A source said the former prime minister is currently at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya but declined to reveal the reason he is there for.

Najib arrived at the MACC headquarters at 3pm Wednesday (Sept 19).

There have been contradicting reports on news portals.

Some claim that Najib is there for further questioning but others say that he is being held in MACC custody as he is expected to be charged tomorrow.

“The MACC will issue a press release soon,” said the source.
