MACC arrests two PKR members for bribery, six-day remand obtained

ALOR SETAR: Two PKR members were arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) here on Saturday (Sept 15) for attempting to solicit a RM20,000 bribe.

It was learnt that the duo, aged 46 and 48, both members of the Kedah PKR election committee, allegedly asked for RM20,000 from a candidate to ensure that his name remains in the system for the party divisional election scheduled for Sept 22.
