MPV knocks down pupil at zebra crossing


GEORGE TOWN: A Year One pupil from SJK(C) Kwang Hwa in Sungai Nibong cheated death when she was hit by an MPV at the zebra crossing outside her school.

The accident on Tuesday was captured on a CCTV camera and a 23-second video of it has since gone viral. The video showed a group of pupils and parents waiting for the traffic lights at the zebra crossing to turn from red to green to cross over, and when it did, the seven-year-old appeared to have dashed across.
