Saudi to adopt Malaysian pilgrim cleanliness programme

MECCA: After seeing how Malaysian pilgrims kept their surroundings neat and tidy in the Masyair Prime Cleanliness Campaign by Tabung Haji, Saudi Arabia is now proposing the same programme be implemented for all pilgrims in future.

Saudi Arabia Haj and Umrah Vice-Minister Dr Abdulfattah Suliman Mashat considered Malaysia a model of cleanliness as the pilgrims kept their tents in Mina and Arafah spick and span during Masyair, the climax of the haj.
