KOTA KINABALU: It was a special homecoming for local boy Fred Chong, who returned to Sabah over the weekend to launch his film, Rise: Ini Kalilah (Rise), which is slated to have its world premiere on Sept 3.

The award-winning producer, whose past works include Nasi Lemak 2.0, Hantu Gangster and the banned Banglasia, admitted that he had not been home for a long time as he was busy building up his digital company WebTVAsia.
