Rallies of rival groups over DCM II’s alleged links end on peaceful note


GEORGE TOWN: Two opposing groups of supporters staged a shouting match at Komtar to express their views on state Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P. Ramasamy.

One group supported him while the other condemned him for alleged links to the Liberation of Tamil Tigers Eelam (LTTE) movement in Sri Lanka.
