KUALA LUMPUR: New Malaysia Monitor president Datuk Lokman Adam wants the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to explain why it froze bank accounts belonging to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's family members.

"If they want to freeze a person's bank account, they must have concrete proof that the individual is involved in illegal activities," said Lokman, who is also an Umno supreme council member.
