PETALING JAYA: China's Ambassador to Malaysia, Bai Tian has extended his Hari Raya wishes to Malaysians in Malay.
In a video uploaded to the official Facebook page of the Embassy of China in Malaysia, Bai said in his "not-so-fluent" Malay that he would like to represent the people of China, especially the 20mil Muslims in the country to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all Muslims in Malaysia.
“China and Malaysia have a very close relationship and both countries will share bliss and overcome challenges together,” he said, citing Malay idioms in his speech.
“I hope all Muslim friends in Malaysia will be blessed with peace and prosperity. Once again, I wish you all Selamat Hari Raya,” he added.
