KOTA KINABALU: A report claiming to have information of land corruption deals involving Sabah Barisan chief Tan Sri Musa Aman has been submitted to the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Former Umno-BN Sepanggar MP Datuk Jumat Idris (pic) said he had compiled details and submitted the report to the MACC last month.

He alleged that the report, which also included supporting documents, would reveal the various land deals involving Musa and his relatives.

“We have identified numerous land deals that have been applied by Musa’s relatives,” he said during a breaking of fast event here on Wednesday.

Jumat, who was responding to reporters’ questions about the matter, alleged that some of the land involved was state reserve land.

Apart from that, he claims that there were land alienation issues at the Bonggaya Forest Reserve, which initially belonged to Yayasan Sabah, which was later changed to state land.

“After it was changed to state land, some 40, 000 acres of the land had been planted with palm trees,” he added.

“We want to know who these individuals and companies are,” Jumat said.

Meanwhile, he said he will be joining Parti Warisan Sabah soon, but will not be using that as a platform to stand as a candidate in the coming election.

“Let us give the younger people the opportunity,” he said.
