AirAsia launches special Balik Raya late night flights

PETALING JAYA: AirAsia is launching special Balik Raya late night flights to accommodate travel demand during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri period.

Available from June 12 to June 19 June, the flights are priced at a low fixed fare of only RM99 for selected routes within peninsular Malaysia and RM149 from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching.

AirAsia Malaysia chief executive officer Riad Asmat said the additional flights are to fulfil the rakyat's requests for more low fare flights during the festive period.

“Typically fares go up when there is an increased demand. However, we wish to do our part to ensure Malaysians are able to go home to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with their loved ones," he said.

The special Balik Raya late night flights are applicable for new bookings only and are subject to availability.

Guests travelling during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period are advised to arrive at the airport earlier to avoid congestion and to use the AirAsia web check-in and mobile check-in services.
