Ministry mulls cops in schools

Presence needed: The Education Ministry is considering the possibility of auxiliary police in schools and CCTVs will also be installed for additional security later this year.

THE Education Ministry is mulling a move to station police in schools.

Its minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid said the request would be made only for schools located in hotspot areas.
