FANS can check out late singer Datuk Sudirman Arshad’s law thesis at the “One Thousand Million Smiles” exhibition at the Universiti Malaya (UM) library in Kuala Lumpur, Kosmo! reported.
The thesis, which was completed in 1980, is among the exhibits that show the legendary entertainer’s achievements and contributions to the Malaysian music industry.
UM library exhibition deputy chairman Shamsiah Abu Bakar said the exhibition is in honour of Sudirman, an alumnus of the university’s law school.
The exhibition runs from March 1 to May 25.
> His disability does not stop Zakaria Md Yusof, who runs a stall next to the Juasseh Hilir river in Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan, from cleaning it every day, Sinar Harian reported.
The 58-year-old, who started limping after being involved in an accident five years ago, said he does it out of love for Mother Nature and to keep the environment clean.
“If I don’t do it, I will feel restless the whole day,” said the man who prefers to be called Pak Ya.
As his stall is next to the river, he said it made it easier for him to clean it.
