Viral kidnapping case occurred in 2015, say cops

KAJANG: A kidnapping that has gone viral on social media is actually an old case from 2015.  

District OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said that the police have  investigated the claims and found that the case occurred in October 2015.  

In the incident, an eight-year-old victim was kidnapped by the suspects at a nursery school near Sg Chua, Kajang.  

"The police arrested four suspects and they have since been charged. The case is still undergoing trial in the Shah Alam Court," he said in a statement on Thursday (March 1).
