Zahid: China has requested extradition of detained Uighurs

BATU PAHAT: Malaysia has received an official request from China to deport 11 Uighur Muslims who were detained in the country last year.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic) said Malaysia would honour the Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) thorough Interpol and the extradition agreement it signed with China.
