Terrorists could exploit NPOs’ weaknesses


KUALA LUMPUR: Countries should actively identify the vulnerable characteristics of non-profit organisations (NPO) to better mitigate their abuse to finance terrorism, said Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Deputy Prime Minister said the advanced and inventive ways employed by terrorists to achieve their agenda included abusing NPOs to finance terrorist activities.
