Group gathers to support motion to ban hillside projects in Penang


GEORGE TOWN: A group calling themselves the Young Masters gathered outside the state legislative assembly here on Monday to support a motion to ban all hillside development projects in Penang.

Led by acting Penang Gerakan Youth chief Jason Loo, the group of 25 people were there to support Pulau Betong assemblyman Datuk Dr Muhammad Farid Saad's motion to ban all hillside development, submitted on Oct 15 and accepted by Speaker Datuk Law Choo Kiang for debate during the current state assembly sitting.
