PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia’s special relationship with Saudi Arabia does not hinder it from continuing relations with Qatar, both of whose ties have been strained in the past few months.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Putrajaya has warm ties with King Salman Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince Mohamed Salman, pointing out that the King’s successful visit in February was proof of how strong the Malaysian-Saudi relationship is.
