Megat Junid’s son: Dr M gave millions to meet Bush


ALOR SETAR: Datuk Megat Fairouz Junaidi, (pic)  the eldest son of the late Tan Sri Megat Junid Megat Ayub, claimed that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had paid lobbyists millions of ringgit to have a meeting with then US Presi­dent George W. Bush.

Megat Fairouz claimed that based on information from his father, the meeting at the White House in 2002 was arranged by Megat Junid on the instruction of Dr Mahathir who was prime minister then.
