THE management of a school in Negri Sembilan has clarified that the covering up of the Thiruvalluvar statue in the school compound was not due to instructions from the state government, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Pictures began circulating online showing the statue at SJK (T) Ladang Shanghai Seremban being completely surrounded by a mini tent and curtains of what appears to be the national and state flags.
