THERE were tense moments at a 60-year-old temple in Butterworth, Penang, when the landowner, who arrived with heavy machinery, tried to demolish a temple supposedly without any notice on Wednesday, Makkal Osai reported.
It said the Veerakaliamman Temple in Kampung Manggis is registered with the authorities.
