KOTA KINABALU: Vietnamese vessels licensed to operate in Sabah waters have been misusing their licences and breaking the conditions of their permits by carrying out illegal fishing activities.
Some 31 Vietnamese fishing vessels have been licensed to operate in Sabah waters but the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said this has given rise to various questions.
