KiVa – proven effective

KiVa, is both a play of the Finnish word “kiva” which means “nice” and an acronym for “kiusaamista vastaan” (against bullying).

Through carefully designed class activities and video games that simulate a variety of possible bullying situations to initiate role-playing, KiVa teaches children what bullying is, why it is unacceptable and what to do when they see it.
