Kuala Lumpur: AirAsia X is conducting an investigation into Kuala Lumpur-bound Flight D7237 from Perth, Australia, which was forced to turn back three hours after departure due to a “technical issue”.
In a statement yesterday, the airline said the investigation was being done together with engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce, and that it was cooperating fully with local aviation authorities.
It expressed its adherence to maintenance programmes, regulations, safety and security audits, and its commitment to meeting all requirements in all nations it operated in.
