KULIM: Rumbia (sago palm) leaves, used to make the roofs of traditional houses, are also used in the making of lemang (glutinous rice cooked in bamboo), a popular dish served on Hari Raya.

The leaves are used to line the inside of the bamboo before the glutinous rice is poured into it, hence the name Lemang Rumbia, which is becoming popular among residents in the district.
