Four deny hurting Uber driver


GEORGE TOWN: Four men, including the husband of a Vietnamese woman allegedly molested by an Uber driver, pleaded not guilty in a magistrate’s court here to a charge of rioting.

Teoh Chiew Beng, 37, Ng Chun Peng, 32, Koay Hean Tatt, 32, and Wong Kok Leong, 27, were jointly charged with intentionally causing hurt to Uber driver Muhammad Sukri Ramli during a riot in Jalan Lintang Paya Terubong at 3pm on June 7.
