Opposition MP calls for independent probe into Thanaseelan’s death

PETALING JAYA: An Opposition lawmaker has called for an independent investigation into the death of Thanaseelan Muniandy, who died in the Bukit Sentosa lockup on Feb 25.

Padang Serai MP N. Surendran said the investigating officer in Thanaseelan’s case should be removed from the case, and he asked for an independent investigation team to be appointed.
