SPAD gears up to ensure safe CNY journey


PETALING JAYA: The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) is increasing enforcement activities as Malaysians start their journey back home to welcome the Year of the Fire Rooster.

Based on a calculation made by Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), about 11,500 bus trips will be made across peninsular Malaysia during the upcoming Chinese New Year, ferrying about 290,000 passengers.
