IPOH: It’s a case of David vs Goliath when a group of orang asli emerged winners in a court battle against their former lawyers for misusing their funds partly to buy 27 apartments.
They have been awarded RM37mil in damages by High Court judge Justice Samsudin Hassan, who also ordered that the apartments be given to an orang asli trust.
