KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional must never ignore the sentiment of the people, and must learn from the "shocking" outcomes of elections and referendums in other countries, says Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Prime Minister said Britain's decision to exit the European Union and the election of Rodrigo Duterte and Donald Trump as presidents of the Philippines and the United States respectively were unexpected.
