Zahid Hamidi: National crime index down but snatch thefts up by 36%


JOHOR BARU: The overall national crime index has declined by 0.8% in the first nine months of the year, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic).

He said the number of crime cases recorded nationwide declined from 85,739 to 85,049 cases in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
