‘Stop taking it out on the old and the young’

GEORGE TOWN: Penang MCA has urged debt collectors not to terrorise and torment an elderly woman and her grandchildren over non-payment of a RM27,000 loan that has ballooned to RM610,000.

“Don’t bully a 76-year-old woman, and children. It is very unethical,” said Penang MCA Public Service and Complaints Bureau head Gui Guat Lye.
