Rising gold prices lead to slow sales for goldsmiths during Raya

PUTRAJAYA: The rising price of gold in the aftermath of the Brexit vote, has led to slower Hari Raya sales for Malaysian goldsmiths.

Poh Kong Holdings Bhd executive director Ermin Siow said the US gold price had gone up to around US$1,350 an ounce and was showing an upward trend.
