WHILE the classroom teacher is the most visible person in a child’s life at school, it is the principal who is actually responsible for driving the entire school to provide a conducive environment for high-quality education to take place.

Empirical studies here and elsewhere for the past two decades indicate that the principal or headmaster’s leadership style will have a huge bearing on the school.
