IGP: Phone tapping issue a small misunderstanding


KUALA LUMPUR: Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail ibni Sultan Ibrahim’s claim on Facebook that the Special Branch was tapping his phone was the result of a misunderstanding, said Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

“This (Thursday) morning I met Tunku and actually this is a misunderstanding,” the Inspector-General of Police told reporters after attending the Rujirawongse Cup 2016 rugby tournament at the Police Training Centre here.
