Silver chariot ready for annual journey

GEORGE TOWN: The 122-year-old silver chariot bearing Lord Muruga is all set to begin its annual journey for Thaipusam.

Nattukottai Chettiar Temple managing trustee Dr A. Narayanan said preparations for cleaning, polishing and preparing the silver chariot for the procession here on Jan 23 started a month ago.
