KUALA LUMPUR: With several long weekends coming up this year, the local tourism scene is set to pick up pace, targeting RM45.7bil in revenue following a slow 2015.
Tourism Malaysia director-general Datuk Mirza Mohammad Taiyab said domestic tourists were expected to make 66.8 million visits and spend the night outside of their homes at least 50km away for their holidays.
