Vibrant welcome for delegates

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s colourful ethnic Murut headhunters’ dance is set to welcome 300 delegates from 48 countries, as the city hosts the Commonwealth’s speakers and presiding officers conference from today.

The popular traditional dance to welcome home the headhunter warriors aimed to showcase some of Malaysia’s multi-ethnic cultures to the visitors, who are here for the 23rd Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth.
