Umno AGM: Party should learn lesson from fall of Malacca


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin (pic) has called on Umno to show solidarity with the party's leaders, based on lessons from the one time fall of Malacca to the Portuguese.

The Puteri Umno chief said that even a great civilisation could be destroyed by serious internal problems, pointing to the Malacca empire which fell to the enemy despite having far superior military strength.
