Former Silver Bird director and CEO acquitted of CBT charge


KUALA LUMPUR: A former director and a former CEO were acquitted of a charge of criminal breach of trust involving RM13mil in company funds.

The two - Koperasi Permodalan Felda Malaysia Berhad (KPF) former director Datuk Sarchu Sawal and Silver Bird Group Berhad former chief executive officer Datuk Jackson Tan Han Kook – were accused of misappropriating funds belonging to KPF Quality Foods Sdn Bhd (KPFQ) amounting to RM 13,128,871.46 in their capacity as directors of the company.
