Obama well briefed and aware of issues, says Ambiga

KUALA LUMPUR: Civil society leaders who met Barack Obama (pic) on the sidelines of the 27th Asean Summit said the US president had already known many of their concerns.

“He was well briefed and knew what was going on,” said former Malaysian Bar president Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan. “He assured us of his interest in human rights.”
