KUALA LUMPUR: Advancements in information and communications as well as and satellite technologies should be leveraged to enhance local disaster management capabilities, says Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Madius Tangau.
"These technologies reveal what are at risk within local or wider geographical areas such as river basins," said the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation.
