Dr M being probed, says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is being investigated for his calls for the resignation of the Prime Minister, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic).

“The police have opened two investigation papers on complaints lodged against Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. One investigation concerns Klang Report 33074/14 and Section 500 of the Penal Code. The case will be referred to the deputy public prosecutor for review and further instructions after the investigation is completed,” he said in a written parliamentary reply published yesterday.
