Cops say security under control despite alleged terror threat

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have assured the public that security in the capital is under control although reports of terrorist attacks at specific locations have emerged.

City police chief Datuk Tajuddin Md Isa (pic) said this when commenting on a travel advisory issued by the US Embassy and the Australian government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, urging their citizens to avoid Jalan Alor due to possible terror threats.
