Cargo vessel carrying general merchandise missing since Saturday

KUCHING: All Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) marine assets have been deployed since Monday to trace a cargo vessel believed to have gone missing while en route to Limbang from the port here last Saturday.

Sarawak region MMEA public relations officer Sub Lieutenant (M) Muhammad Hainizam Mohd Jamil said vessel owners only realised it had disappeared on Monday when the vessel did not reach its destination on schedule.
