Philippine govt lauds M’sian firms

KUALA LUMPUR: Several major Malaysian firms have been lauded by the Philippine government as model employers of Filipinos working here.

Philippine Labour and Employ­ment secretary Rosalinda D. Baldoz praised the strong partnership between Malaysian companies and expatriates, saying the protection of migrant workers was of paramount importance and a national policy.
